Where Will You Sail?

Four sailing regions, each with its own season and its own reason to go. Every route below is one we operate directly.

Komodo

Padar ridgelines, Pink Beach and the manta channels of Karang Makassar, all within short sheltered crossings from Labuan Bajo.

Raja Ampat

Karst islands and the richest reef biodiversity on earth, spread across Misool, Wayag and the Dampier Strait.

Lombok

The western approach to Komodo through Sumbawa, with whale sharks at Teluk Saleh along the way.

Banda Sea

An open-water crossing that opens only twice a year, past the volcanic Banda Islands and their hammerhead season.

More Than a Yacht. Your Private Journey.

Booking a cabin puts you on someone else’s schedule. Chartering the whole vessel changes the trip at a structural level: the boat waits when the light is good, moves when the weather turns, and answers to your group rather than to a manifest.

  • Complete privacy
No other guests aboard. The saloon, the sun deck and the tender are yours alone.
  • Flexible itinerary
Stops and timings are drafted with the captain and stay adjustable day to day.
  • Personalised service
Menus planned around your group before departure, dietary needs handled properly.
  • Professional crew
Captain, chef, guide and deck team, sized to the vessel rather than the budget.
  • Dining aboard
Three meals a day cooked fresh on board, served on deck at the times you keep.
  • Diving and snorkelling
Snorkelling gear for every guest; tanks and a guide on request, or a full dive team on VVIP vessels.
  • Island experiences
Guided treks on Rinca and Komodo, beach landings and shore excursions included.
  • Any group shape
Vessels sleeping two to thirty-two guests, so couples and large families both fit.

Designed Around You

A private charter is a blank itinerary, not a fixed product. Tell the captain what matters to your group and the route is built around it — more dive sites, more beach time, later mornings, or a slower pace with fewer stops.

How It Works

Four steps from first message to departure. Nothing is charged until a vessel and dates are confirmed.

01

Tell Us What You Want

Dates, group size, departure port and whether diving matters. Those four answers narrow the fleet immediately.

02

Choose Your Yacht

We send back only vessels genuinely free for your dates, with rates direct from the operator. Options are held around seven days while you book flights.

03

Customise Your Journey

The captain drafts a route against the forecast rather than a template. We register every guest for Komodo permits through SiOra.

04

Set Sail

Transfer from your hotel or the airport, safety briefing aboard, and departure.

The tour guide is good at taking photos, the food is delicious, the staff is helpful, unfortunately the shower and taps in the ship’s toilet are not good.

Rates are quoted in US dollars at a planning rate and confirmed at booking. Komodo National Park entrance and SiOra conservation fees, marine park permits, scuba diving, alcohol and crew gratuity sit outside these figures.

Frequently Asked Questions

It means booking an entire vessel rather than a cabin on it. The boat, its captain, chef, guide and deck crew work to your group alone, and the route is drafted with you instead of fixed to a schedule. Most vessels here are phinisi — traditional Indonesian wooden sailing yachts, built between 19 and 65 metres and fitted out to modern standards.

Whole-boat rates start from USD 1,850 per trip on the Deluxe tier and run to USD 26,000 per night on the largest VVIP yachts. Price follows hull length, crew count and season rather than the itinerary. Because you pay for the vessel, not a seat, the cost per person drops sharply as your group fills the cabins.

Komodo National Park is the most accessible, departing Labuan Bajo with short sheltered crossings. Raja Ampat runs from Sorong and rewards seven nights or more. The Lombok to Flores crossing passes Sumbawa and Teluk Saleh, and the Banda Sea opens only in two transition windows each year. Alor and Halmahera are also sailed on request.

Yes, and it is often the easier option. Cabins are air conditioned, meals are cooked aboard to whatever your family eats, and the schedule bends to nap times and early nights rather than a shared departure. Vessels sleep anywhere from two to thirty-two guests, so both couples and multi-generation groups fit.

Exclusive use of the vessel and crew, full board with three meals a day, drinking water, coffee and tea, shore excursions and island treks, snorkelling equipment for every guest, tender transfers, and airport or hotel transfers at the departure port. Not included: national park entrance and SiOra conservation fees, marine park permits, scuba diving, alcohol, flights, insurance and crew gratuity.

Yes. The captain drafts a route against the forecast rather than a template, and it stays adjustable day to day within park boundaries, permit coverage and sea conditions. Most groups start from a standard route and change one or two stops; some design the whole thing from scratch.

Six to eight weeks is comfortable for a Deluxe charter outside peak season. July and August need several months on the Luxury tier. The largest VVIP yachts are commonly held twelve to eighteen months ahead for peak dates and the Christmas to New Year period. Last-minute availability does appear when a charter releases, so it is worth asking even inside ninety days.
